VILLAGE OF CAMERON SPECIAL BOARD MEETING

            The Cameron Village Board held a special meeting on Monday, August 20, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at the Cameron Village Hall. Members present: Tim Wall, Steve Johnson, Russ Hulback, Randy Hill, and Dave Ebner, with Mark Trowbridge presiding. Absent: Ben Hester.

 

            Also present: Jaden Ebert.

 

            Mark Trowbridge reported that the cooperation agreement between Sweet Additions Ingredient Processors (SAIP) and the Village of Cameron has been finalized and executed. Mark and Jaden met with Matt Dyer from corporate headquarters of SAIP and they are fully cooperating and have already ordered some equipment for the project to help get their sewerage in compliance.

 

            After discussion of the potential sale of property to SAIP, Steve Johnson moved to sell SAIP approximately one-third of an acre from parcel #111-5000-69-000 for $1 provided SAIP pay all associated fees, including surveying, transfers, surveying the Kennedy property, writing up the sale documents, legal and survey fees to rectify any encroachments and stipulating the property will only be used for a pretreatment facility, second Dave Ebner. Carried 6-0

 

            At approximately 6:37, Trustee Johnson had to leave the meeting, still leaving a quorum of five board members.

 

            After discussion was held on what to do with the small parcel of land (30’x199’) that was left after selling Buzzy Adams the east side of parcel #111-5000-44-001, Dave Ebner moved to sell the property to the Cameron Area Fire District for $1, with the stipulation that the fire department pay all costs to perform the transfer, second Tim Wall. Carried 4-1 (Randy Hill voted against)

 

As there was no further business to attend to, at 6:44 Tim Wall moved to adjourn, second Russ Hulback. Carried 5-0
