NEW BUSINESS

The board discussed the building permit ordinance. Mark Trowbridge stated that he had an attorney look at the ordinance and he stated that it was a good strong ordinance. Mark also stated that to change the ordinance now it wouldn’t be fair to all the residents that already paid for their permits, and that it is not feasible to refund those that already paid. Much of the discussion centered on the specific areas of re-roofing, re-siding and door and window replacement.

After much discussion Mark Trowbridge moved to leave the ordinance as is for now and look at changing it in the future, second Randy Hill. Carried 5-0

Steve Johnson suggested forming an Ad Hoc Committee to review the building permit ordinance.

Mark Trowbridge moved to form an Ad Hoc Committee to review the building permit ordinance, with the committee being made up of at least three board members, the building inspector and at least one community member, second Randy Hill. Carried 5-0

Steve Johnson volunteered to chair the Ad Hoc Committee and Russ Hulback volunteered to also sit on the committee. Jim Turner stated that he may want to sit on the committee.

As there was no further business to attend to, at 7:00 Mark Trowbridge moved to adjourn, second Russ Hulback. Carried 5-0
