OLD BUSINESS

There was no old business to attend to.

NEW BUSINESS

The spring clean-up day was set for Saturday, May 13, 2017.

Jim Turner gave a brief update on behalf of the Street Committee. Jim reported that the new track loader has been delivered and that the crew has been trained on how to operate it by a John Deere representative. Jim also stated that things are running along smoothly at the Public Works Department.

Due to the track loader being too heavy for the Village’s trailer, the Street Committee had Roger Abbott get a quote to trade the trailer in for a larger one. Roger received a quote from Pete’s Trailer Sales in the amount of $2,735, which included $3,000 credit for trading in the old trailer. The Public Works will have to use one of the dump trucks to haul the track loader around because it weighs too much for the pickups. Jim Turner moved to accept the quote from Pete’s Trailer Sales in the amount of $2,735, with the funds coming from the Capital Outlay-Street Machinery Account, second Russ Hulback. Carried 6-0

Randy Hill approached Ventures Unlimited to build Adirondack chairs for the splash pad area. Randy asked them redesign the chairs with a higher seat at the back, higher arms and less angle of the back to make it easier to get out of. Ventures dropped off a prototype for the board to look at and test out. Randy Hill moved to purchase 10 (ten) of the Adirondack chairs from Ventures Unlimited at a cost of $95 per chair, with the funds coming from the Parks Capital Outlay Account, second Dave Ebner. Carried 6-0

At 6:23 a roll call vote was taken to go into closed session pursuant to Wis.
